"Alloggio del Contadino" was founded in 2019 on our farm. We have always been dedicated to the quality of our products: cheese, yogurt, ricotta, butter, milk. We wanted to put in the hospitality the same commitment that we put in our production, creating three cozy rooms, and offering a hearty breakfast of the territory.

Located in the heart of Valtellina, a few hundred meters from the ring road of Sondrio, the Alloggio del Contadino has three comfortable rooms and is the ideal place to stay to visit the middle Valtellina. Recently renovated, it is located on a farm, and guests will be greeted by a breakfast based on 0 km products, cow's milk and goat's milk, and the territory.

Neighborhood info

We are close to the nature reserve of the Bordighi forest, halfway between the Orobie and Rhaetian Alps. A few meters from us passes the "Sentiero Valtellina", a bike path that runs along the entire valley along the Adda. From here, in about 20 minutes by car you can reach the cable car of the Palù Alp, in Valmalenco, and in half an hour the slopes of Aprica, or Tirano with the red train of Bernina, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lake Como is 40 minutes away, and Bormio about 1 hour. In the surroundings it is possible to make numerous excursions to discover the terraced vineyards and the mountains of Valtellina.
