Antica Dogana is set right in front of the lagoon of Venice, only 40 minutes by boat from the historic center, offering stunning views of the sunset and the Venetian islands. Public boats to the old city of Venice, Santa Lucia train station and to the islands depart regularly from the station just outside the hotel. Antica Dogana can be reached in 1 hour by boat from Marco Polo Airport. Antica Dogana is housed in a historic palace renovated to offer modern guest rooms with all conveniences. It features an elegant restaurant overlooking the lagoon – in summer, there is also a charming panoramic terrace.

The restaurant - inn "Antica Dogana" position in front of the venetian lagoon, from where the most evocative sunsets can be admired on the venetian islands. Constructed historical piece of real estate in 1853 like "ricettoria finaziale", the place where the taxes for the goods introduced in the venetian shoreline were paid on behalf of the Austrian empire, has been accurately restored, proposing an elegant premises. The islands are Burano (15 min. with pubblic boat), Torcello (20 min) S.Erasmo (30 min.) Murano (40 min.) and Venice (50 min.) The dining room, elegantly and radiating, with a panoramic view directly of the lagoon. The beautiful terrace is open in the summer season. Specality fish. The 6 rooms, elegantly furnished, are supplies of all the modern comfort: air conditioned, heating, mini bar, tv-sat, telephon, hairdryer.. Parkingplace directly in front of Hotel, Bus stop, pubblic boat (water bus) in front of Hotel every 30 minutes to Venice...
