Located just 50 meters from Lake Como, this holiday home sits in the historic center of Colonno, a village founded in Roman times (1st century BC) and later developed during the Middle Ages as a fishing and trading settlement. Colonno is known for its original stone lanes, medieval stairways and terracotta rooftops, preserved almost unchanged for centuries. Unlike resort towns, the village maintains its authentic residential character and traditional lake culture. The house itself is part of the historic fabric of the village. Its original structure and architectural elements have been preserved, while a carefully executed designer renovation introduced modern comfort, efficient layout and high-quality materials.
