A warm welcome to Chalet Avidea Secret! We are a South Tyrolean host family, and we have designed the two chalets with great attention to detail — creating the kind of retreat we would love ourselves: secluded enough for true peace and quiet, yet close enough to everything the region has to offer. Our goal is for you to feel at home from the very first moment. We are always available — whether for recommendations on hikes and restaurants or if you need anything at all during your stay. Two unique chalets in an exceptionally peaceful location at 1,600 m — nestled in the forest, with views of the peaks of Merano 2000. The Chalet and the Superior Chalet are equally well equipped, but differ in style: the Chalet features warm wooden tones and a cozy alpine atmosphere, while the Superior Chalet offers a clean, contemporary design with high-quality materials. Both have their own character — which one suits you best is entirely a matter of personal preference. Both chalets offer: private sauna, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, sun terrace, washing machine, and Starlink Wi-Fi for a stable internet connection — ideal for streaming and video calls. Chalet: up to 8 guests, 4 bedrooms, traditional alpine style. Superior Chalet: up to 7 guests, 4 bedrooms, modern design. The Merano 2000 lift station can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Ski slopes and hiking trails start right at the doorstep. Good to know: in both chalets, two of the four bedrooms are located in the basement and have no windows — particularly quiet and ideal for deep, restful sleep. The two bedrooms on the upper floor each have windows and access to a balcony with mountain views.

Hafling is located on a plateau above Merano at 1,300 m — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and offering one of the most beautiful views in South Tyrol. Hiking & nature: In summer, hikes start directly from the chalets to the Stoanerne Mandln (Stone Men), Lake Kratzberger, and the Kreuzjöchl pass. Mountain biking and paragliding opportunities are also available in the area. Skiing & winter: The Merano 2000 lift station can be reached within a 10-minute walk. The ski area offers slopes for all levels, toboggan runs, and winter hiking trails. The famous Knottnkino — a natural panoramic viewing platform — is located nearby. Haflinger horses: The region is home to the world-famous Haflinger horses — stud farms and riding opportunities can be found nearby. Merano (20 min): This elegant spa town features the renowned Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, a historic old town, thermal baths, and excellent dining options. Shopping: Small village shop in Hafling (approx. 8 minutes by car), full supermarkets in Merano (approx. 20 minutes).
