La Rugiada is in an 1928 manor house recently renovated by the ancestors of the current owners. And 'it surrounded by a park with lawns, trees and surrounded by flowers. Sometimes our clients spend many hours in the quiet of the garden. The centrality of the structure in the region makes it a convenient place and convenient to reach not only Assisi, which is only a few minutes by car, but also many other places in Umbria. Our satisfaction is the awareness of being able to offer our guests the opportunity to discover the tranquility and beauty of the fascinating landscapes of Umbria, making it taste perfume, traditions and flavors.
I'm a librarian and I like to think of being able to pass on to my customers information on our sites. Although not strictly related to the Franciscan vocation of Assisi but linked to its landscape, cultural and historical quality.
The area is interesting because although at the borders with the Natural Park of Mount Subasio, you can reach the center of Assisi in just 5 minutes by car. The Sanctuary of Rivotorto also holds indide The Tugurio, the ancient shelter that traditionally hosted St. Francis and his first companions in the early days of the Franciscan experience.
