Boschetto del Lago is located just out of Castiglione del Lago, a pictoresque village on the shore of Trasimeno Lake. With its nice beaches and calm waters, Trasimeno Lake is the perfect spot for water sports, boat excursions and sun bathing. Day trips to its three islands (Isola Minore, Maggiore and Polvese) are a must, as well as a visit to the towns of Touro and Passignano sul Trasimeno. The Etruscan town of Cortona, in Tuscany, is only 10 km away.
