Hi I'm Paolo your host during your stay at the Amarilla house . I was born and raised in Lake Como area but I have lived and travelled abroad , I adore travel and meet different people but i can define myself a " country man " as I appreciate tranquility and being away from the hustle and bustle . I have a deep love for history,art and culture but also I have an active life ! Hiking and skiing are my favourite sports . I'm happy to live here in this beautiful country with water and high mountains . come and enjoy a glass of wine together ! before I forget ..... I'm a professional tour guide I can give you good advice of our country :)))

The Amarilla house is the perfect location for couple that are looking a quiet and romantic a apartment with beautiful lake view, the property is in the old pedestrian area of San Siro but close to the house you will find as well good restaurants, pizzeria and cafè. during the season you can have a drink at the cafè of nearby beach or good dinner in a cozy old restaurant of the hamlet Rezzonico

Lake Como has always attracted people who come from all over the world, some of its places like Bellagio, Cernobbio,Menaggio have become synonymous of " chic " italian tourist places but the main attraction is always its unspoiled landscape,the lake, the beautiful gardens and parks,the nature,the vegetations,the mountains , the small beaches and.... the silence. The tranquil Mastena wich is the hamlet where la Casa Amarilla is located is pure relaxation , admiring the view of the lake and mountains from the house or nearby village it's a peaceful experience but this place is also starting point for hiking or for a swiw in the lake that is only five minutes walk.Those who prefer the Swimming pool with a sandy beach can choose the Lido Menaggio only a few minutes by car from San Siro
