One of the little gems of Luino (a small town on Lake Maggiore) is Voldomino. My house is located in Voldomino Inferiore, a green area near a beautiful cycling path that runs along the Tresa and Margorabbia rivers. To reach the house, you’ll pass through a small square where, many years ago, there was a public washhouse and the old mill of my great-grandparents, which was used to grind the grain of local farmers. The upper part of the village is called Voldomino Superiore, known for its historic center and the Church of Santa Maria Assunta. We are surrounded by history, energy, and—fortunately—a simple, authentic village spirit that still lives on.
