Assisi is only 35 minutes away a must for all visiters to the regione. Glyn and Maureen look forward to welcoming you to their home having moved from the UK to live in Italy. We have been working hard in the house to make it as hospitable and welcoming as possible and making improvements every year. In our spare time Glyn can be found tending his garden or carving wood whilst Maureen paints watercolours. We both continue to learn Italian so please forgive us if we don't get things right.

There is so much to do and see in and around Umbria 2 Km from the St Francis Camino Walking path To the north we have Lago di Tresamino a stunning lake with gorgeos villages around its shore line. The Medieval towns and villages of Gubbio, Spello, Trevi, Foligno, Todi and Spoleto each with their own food Sagra's festivals and events. The wine growing regions of Orvieto and Montefalco producing world beating red and white wines. Our capital city of Perugia an Estrucian and Roman remains in this Medieval city. A vibrant night life and is host to Umbria Jazz with the best musicians around, Eurochocolate is a must for those with a sweet tooth. Lets not forget Assisi this stunning hilside town famous for St Francis, even if you are not religous his story is amazing and 2 long distance walks go through Assisi Via Roma and the St Farncis way. In the south of Umbria is the village of Narni, insperation for the books "The Chronicles of Narnia by C S Lewis and also Terni and the Marmara falls, the tallest man made waterfalls in Europe.
