The cottage, built with the unique local stone, offers an huge kitchen with fireplace, nice porches and verandas on the two sides, from which you can enjoy the wonderful view of Rocca Maggiore. Its large outdoors with many toys and a beautiful swimming pool is surrounded by an amazing landscape that will make your staying unforgettable. The great living room with pellet stove is the heart of the house. The cottage offers 5 double rooms, all provided with bathroom (with bath or shower), all extremely comfortable. Privacy and security of your staying are guaranteed by a fence and an automatic gate at the entrance. We love the place where we live and we are sure that you are going to appreciate and enjoy it as well. Come and visit Assisi to discover the “hidden” Umbria! Waiting for you! Benedetta and Roberto.

We care about needs of people that travel with children and we try to satisfy their requests in the best way. We like to know new people and to get in touch with different cultures. I ' m an Italian teacher for foreign people, therefore we also offer our guests the opportunity to learn our beautiful language!
Just a few steps from "Bosco di San Francesco", near the city center of Assisi, “Santa Margherita” cottage is a wonderful place where you can spend your relaxing holidays in Umbria. It is an ideal place for Nature's lovers: from the cottage you can walk on the country paths, go biking or reach St. Francis Church by foot. Moreover, you will find a lovely barbecue for your nice dinners “a la brace”. Assisi, hometown of St. Francis and St. Clair, is also the place where you can admire the beautiful masterpieces of the main medieval artists, such as Giotto and Cimabue. Since it is situated in the middle of Umbria, Assisi is the perfect point from which you can reach the most important cities of the whole region (Perugia, Bevagna, Spello, Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto, Gubbio and so on) and Trasimeno lake (40 mins by car).
