Michaela and Christian with here family place great importance on tradition and are profoundly attached to their land and its people they are dedicated to preserving rural life, ancient customs and habitant. We like to travel and to learn new cultures and new people. We are a really small reality and we have a farm in Merano.

Property info

Tradition and lightness, luxury and joy of living – how do they fit together? Our Chalet Leckplått and Chalet Zoila are located in the immediate vicinity of Avelengo, not far from the spa town of Merano, after a short drive up the mountain, on the “southern balcony of the Alps”. Each of the two houses has its own soul. These two historic houses have become special holiday homes – houses that inspire, cheer and enchant. The chalet has special the traditional "Stube" (wood farmhouse parlour), the big own garden and the view to the mountains.

Neighborhood info

The chalet is in the small mountain village Hafling, directly belwo the ski- and hiking area Merano 2000 and close to the city of Merano. Hiking tours directly from the chalet or close to the chalet you can riding with the famous "Haflinger horses". The chalets stay calm on a hill; if you go down the hill by foot there is a coffee and restaurant and the bus stop (also skibus). The city of Merano is nearby 10km. Merano what is famous for its thermal baths, the botanical gardens at Castle Trauttmansdorff and of course the racecourse, the shopping in the city and the italian way of living. And if you need more, you can reach nearly everything South Tyrol has to offer: ski areas, golf courses, mountain biking trails, climbing routes, starting places for paragliding, outdoor pools and lakes, hiking trails in and around the Dolomites, restaurants, inns, museums, gardens and much more.
