My name is Daniele Tedesco, and I currently live in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Even though life has taken me far from home, my roots remain deeply connected to my hometown: Giffoni Valle Piana, in the province of Salerno. It is there that I grew up, surrounded by the streets, scents, and colors that shaped my childhood and helped define who I am today. Over time, I felt the strong desire to breathe new life into the house where I was born and raised, transforming it into a welcoming place that tells both my story and that of my land. From this vision, “CiaoDolceVita” was born—a guesthouse that is not only a space for hospitality, but also a bridge between past and present, between those who, like me, carry the warmth of Southern Italy in their hearts and those who wish to discover it for the first time. Renovating the house was an act of love towards my origins: I wanted to restore its beauty and soul, creating a modern and comfortable environment while preserving the authenticity that makes it unique. With CiaoDolceVita, my goal is twofold: to welcome travelers from all over the world and, at the same time, to enhance the cultural and human heritage of Giffoni Valle Piana—a land renowned for its hospitality, its natural beauty, and the world-famous Giffoni Film Festival. I truly believe that sharing my hometown through hospitality is the best way to keep its spirit alive and to allow others to experience its essence. This project embodies everything: my love for my homeland, my wish to promote Giffoni, and my personal journey—deeply intertwined with the walls of the house that, now renovated and vibrant, continues to tell a story of life, roots, and renewal.

Located in Giffoni Valle Piana, in the heart of the Picentini Mountains, Ciao Dolce Vita is a guesthouse offering free WiFi. The property features balconies in every room with views of the garden or the castle of Giffoni Valle Piana, and free public parking nearby. This apartment has three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, plus an extra room for large families who need more space but with only one bathroom to share, and a kitchen with utensils. Near Giffoni, you will find the Cathedral of Salerno (22 km), the Arechi Castle (24 km), and the Provincial Art Gallery of Salerno (21 km). We are less than 30 km from the Amalfi Coast with the splendid Vietri sul Mare, the beaches of Maiori or Minori, not to mention Amalfi and its fantastic cathedral or the panorama of Ravello. We are less than 50 km from the splendid Cilento Coast with the village of Agropoli or Paestum, with its archaeological park and magnificent Greek temples.
