The apartment is located in the historic village of Azzano, in the heart of Tremezzina, just a few steps from Lake Como and the center of Mezzegra, which can be reached on foot in just 2 minutes. It faces the Regina State Road on the east side, the sunniest, and the residential village on the west side, quiet and shaded. The main strength of this property is its proximity to all the major tourist attractions, which are easily reachable on foot in no time. Tremezzo is only 2 km away via a flat road. Right outside the apartment, you’ll find a bakery that offers freshly baked croissants and bread every day! You'll also have bars, restaurants, take away pizzeria, a newsstand, tabacco, self service laundrette, and a bus stop, just a few steps from your door. The village is accessible only on foot via centuries-old cobblestone streets (about 50 meters from the nearest parking area, and 100 meters from the bus stop). The apartment is part of a very old building with a characteristic internal courtyard shared with three other apartments inhabited by locals. In this shared outdoor space adjacent to the apartment, you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine after a day spent exploring the botanical gardens in the area. The accommodation is on the ground floor, although there are a few steps after the main entrance door. The thick, traditional stone walls help keep the temperature cool in summer and warm in winter. The living room and bedroom are extremely bright and furnished in a pleasant contemporary style. In the dining area, you'll find everything necessary to prepare simple meals.

These are just a few of the area's attractions—and not even the most famous ones. The majestic Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo is a must-see during your stay, as are the world-renowned Bellagio and Villa Balbianello in Lenno. The Tremezzo pier is just 2 km from the apartment—about a 10-minute walk on flat terrain—and from there, you can take boats for mid-lake tours and fast services to the provincial capital.
