This friendly, family-run hotel is between the 2 basilicas of San Giovanni in Laterano and Santa Maria Maggiore, and overlooks the ancient walls of Rome. Hotel Donatello is located along the Metro A line, just 2 stops from Termini Station. The hotel is on the edge of the historic center, close enough to all the action, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful nights sleep. The professional staff at the Donatello are always on hand to provide useful local knowledge and recommendations on the best places to eat and drink. The guest rooms are elegantly decorated and some even feature a private balcony.
