Omegna is a town located on the shores of Lake Orta. The district is characterized by a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, typical of provincial towns. The old town of Omegna is very picturesque, with its cobbled streets, colourful facades of houses and traditional shops. Among the main attractions of the district are the church of Sant'Ambrogio, with its imposing bell tower, and the weekly market, which takes place every Thursday and offers fresh local produce. Lake Orta is one of the main attractions of the area. Here you can practice water sports such as swimming, sailing and kayaking, or just relax on the beaches and enjoy the view. In short, the district of Omegna is an ideal place for those looking for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by nature and close to Lake Orta, with the possibility to discover the local culture and the production of household goods.
