Jar was born in 2025, following a long and extensive restoration of a large portion of an 18th-century farmhouse. The goal was to create a comfortable, contemporary retreat — always with deep respect for the history embedded in the walls of this remarkable home.

Jar is a little countryside relais nestled on the slope of a gentle hill, in a little village tucked away at the bottom of a quiet little valley. “Little” is our favorite word, because small things are naturally treated with more care — and here, care is at the heart of everything we do. We care for our guests, their happiness, and their expectations.

Pizzon is a tiny hamlet of just sixty-four inhabitants, tucked away at the end of a quiet dead-end road. It’s the perfect spot for those seeking to immerse themselves in nature without feeling completely cut off from the outside world. All essential services are within easy reach, and both the lake and the motorway are just a few kilometers away. Still, the moment you arrive, you feel wonderfully far from everything that defines everyday life. Here, birdsong wakes you gently in the morning, cicadas hum as the summer heat rises, and in the evening, everything is wrapped in silence.
