Valle d'Aosta is a region rich in art and culture. Aosta itself (57 km) offers numerous Roman and Romanesque monuments. Numerous castles characterize the landscape of the Aosta Valley. Among the most important and definitely worth a visit are the castles of Fenis (41 km), Issogne (18 km), Verres (16 km) Sarre (62 km) and Bard (25 km). The gastronomy of the region offers some DOP products, such as the famous bacon "Lardo di Arnad" and the Fontina cheese. The famous thermal baths of Saint Vincent (22 km) await you with a wide range of wellness facilities. The beautiful Turin (95 km), Italy's first capital, offers many monuments and museums, definitely worth a visit is the Egyptian Museum and the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale.
