The house overlooks one of Venice's most beautiful squares, Campo della Bragora. It actually borders with an important Church, where Vivaldi was baptized. The front terrrace allows you to see the all square, read, watch the children play. The backterrace allows you to sunbath. There is a private courtyard where you can have breakfast next to the kitchen. It is a "minipalazzo", full of Venetian features, such as the floors or the arches outside the windows. The square is close to St. Mark's square, and yet quiet. It is still very Venetian. Children play football in the square, locals stop by to talk. The property blends typical venetian features with very modern italian furniture. The paintings have been made especially for the house. They represent key places in Venice, with a modern hyper-realist style. They have been painted by a young local artist.

Massimo was born in Venice from a local Jewish family. He came to the UK for University, studied in Warwick and Oxford, and settled in the UK. He works for a local hedge fund. Vicky is a doctor and University researcher. She loves Venice. Her and Massimo always dreamt of setting up a family house in Venice for their three children to feel Venetians and understand their family roots.

The neighboorhood is still venetian. YOu can buy handmade pasta. You can find a butcher. YOu can see locals drinking coffee or children play football. It is very central. You walk to St. Mark's in 5-6 minutes, and to Rialto in 12. The biennale is 5 minutes away. The direct ferry to the Lido is at your doorstep.
