After chasing beauty in every corner of the world, we were enchanted by the authentic soul of south-eastern Sicily, choosing Ragusa Ibla as our refuge and place of the heart. Here we created Moronero, not just a place to stay, but a project of slow and sustainable hospitality. Moronero, guest house with free parking (outside the restricted traffic zone) in the historic centre of Ragusa Ibla. Elegant property in the historic centre of Ragusa Ibla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous location for the TV series Inspector Montalbano. The location is ideal for those arriving by car: the property is located outside the restricted traffic zone and offers free public parking in front of the entrance and 50 metres away (San Paolo car park, covered, video-monitored and lit, and uncovered). There is also a car park with Enel X electric car charging stations about 70 metres away. Guests can easily drive to the property, unload their luggage without difficulty and visit Ibla on foot without any worries. Completely renovated in 2021, Moronero combines contemporary minimalist design and Sicilian tradition, with handcrafted details such as majolica floors and striking original stone vaults. The property has 4 rooms spread over two floors, some with private terraces or balconies, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms with large showers, towels, toiletries, hairdryers and terry slippers. To ensure maximum comfort, each room offers fibre Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning and heating, minibar and safe. The beds are equipped with comfortable orthopaedic mattresses with toppers and double pillows. Guests can also use a common area on the first floor equipped with tables, plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee machine to prepare their own breakfast or to work in peace during the day. Coffee pods and capsules, tea, herbal teas, barley coffee, Nescafé and packaged sweet and savoury products are available. For the safety and peace of mind of guests, the common areas and the exterior are protected by a video surveillance system (the rooms are naturally excluded). The location allows you to reach St. George's Cathedral in 10 minutes on foot.

Moronero tourist rental is located in the San Paolo district, in a strategic area characterized by a naturalistic landscape and a fantastic rock that connects upper Ragusa with Ragusa Ibla via small stairways. From the structure you can easily reach the center of Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore being influenced by the wonderful and ancient streets in Baroque style enjoying calmly the landscape that this extraordinary place offers. In addition there is FREE street parking right in front of the structure and a stone's throw away there is a FREE municipal parking. At about 10 minutes walk there are several restaurants, bars, pubs, ice cream parlors, shops as well as the numerous and main monuments of the city, remembering in particular the Cathedral of San Giorgio and the Hyblean garden, ideal place for adults and children.
