This was a 15 min walk to Centro Storico - hotel was very clean. Staff was great at this hotel. They offered recommendations and were very friendly. Parking was easy and it was a short drive to Marzamemi (must see) and Ortigia.

The breakfasts were lovely, outdoors by menu. The owner, Elaine, baked the sweet of the day on our last morning which was amazing and the waiter recommended wonderful items for us to try on other days. The staff was very helpful, recommending local places to visit and tips for parking (when needed). The area is very similar to Napa from 20 years ago, with lemon and olive trees all around you (but does not have the current crowds that Napa has) with a focus on wonderful food. For the cognizanti, who want a very comfortable stay and want to feel and taste the Valley di Noto, I highly recommend this venue.

The town is absolutely stunning; the Baroque architecture is breathtaking at every turn. Walking along the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, feels like stepping into an open-air museum, yet the town never feels overly touristy or commercialised. There is a genuine, lived-in charm to it that makes it feel authentic. Beyond the architecture, we enjoyed the local food scene; the granita and pastries alone are worth the visit. The people were warm and welcoming, and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout. It's the kind of place where you can happily spend hours simply wandering, discovering a beautiful church or palazzo around every corner. If you're visiting Sicily, do not miss Noto. It exceeded our expectations and left us wanting to return.

Noto has many charms and lots of baroque churches.

Noto has many charms and lots of baroque churches. The one way system round the town, if you are driving, is a little arduous to manage! We found ourselves going round and round and up and down tortuous hairpin bends rather a lot!

Noto is a beautiful town , very quiet and is the loveliest of the Baroque towns in that area, apart from Ortigya. Dedalo Rooms was very reasonably priced and great value. There is a jolly tuk-tuk to get you around the town, but as it mostly consists of one Main Street , it is a perfect place to walk . There are so many coffee places and wonderful restaurants, to cater for all tastes; a fantastic wine bar called Retrivino where it is possible to sample some of the local wine before ordering.

As our visit was out of season, probably the least attractive time to visit, we did not see it at its best, but it is a charming city. Pozzallo, Syracuse, and Scicli are nearby and well worth a visit, and each has restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. I suggest prioritising pasta and fish.The Zabbantana restaurant in Pozzallo is exceptional and in a great location, almost IN the sea. Syracuse is steeped in ancient history and has two mini museums, one dedicated jointly to Archimedes and Leonardo da Vinci and the other to Egyptian artefacts. Both are well worth a visit. Pozzallo is a lively city with beautiful beaches, and the other cities have magnificent examples of beautiful Baroque architecture

As parking is difficult in these narrow streeted Roman...

As parking is difficult in these narrow streeted Roman villages, it's better to find a pay as you go carpark and walk easily around the town, discovering everything to offer, which is a lot in Noto, Beautiful churches, Baroque style buildings, piazzas with nice cafes and quaint parks to sit and ponder, what to do next.

I've stayed in 15 or 16 different places in Italy, including five or so in Sicily. Noto is my favourite. OK, quite touristy, but not irritatingly so. I visited in mid-September, so may have been lucky. It has a very easy vibe. Will definitely return for more.

Everything was perfect - staff very friendly special thanks to Corrado! breakfast was the best of our stay in Sicily - the homemade brioche and granita are top quality you will not find anything comparing to these ! The lunch and dinner are outstanding: the sauces, fish and pasta were all perfectly executed - we had a lovely well decorated suite with a huge terrace and bathtub and were able to enjoy the pool every day. The hotel is very close to Noto (Scicli was our favorite in the area)

Mr Ferrero Giovanni and Mrs Urso Anna Lisa, with the team, provided us with an extremely professional service. It made our holiday so enjoyable. The hotel location is so perfect. This was a perfect spot to stay put for a week or so and explore the southeast part of Sicily. It’s close to beautiful towns and beaches, and it’s easy to reach. Place itself is beautiful: new, clean, with great pool and relaxation areas. People were also super nice and accommodating and breakfast was fantastic: different every morning, always with something self made.

It had a lovely terrace overlooking Noto. The breakfast was fantastic with all locally grown/sourced food and explained to us which was a lovely touch. The staff were delightful and when we come back to Sicily we’d definitely stay at Villa Ambra
