Our holiday house is ideal for enjoying a pleasant fortnight away from the city, in a comfortable natural environment, right between the worldwide famous "Como" lake and the majestic "Legnone" mountain. The house has two main floors, with two bedrooms and a bathroom in the upper one and a large kitchen, living room and a second bathroom on the ground floor. A wide basement, with his own full equipped bathroom, two additional beds (if needed), a ping-pong table and few gym tools, is the perfect shelter for escaping the summer warm, being the coolest space of the structure, and if that's not enough, the pool will do the job. Reachable directly from the private garden, the pools is opened every day for the whole summer; being shared just with the few neighbors is never crowded, especially in the morning and a perfect alternative to the lake. Believe me when I say that I can think of a few things as pleasant as a quick swim right before breakfast in the heat of the summer. The structure is brand new, being built just around ten year ago, and is the perfect family environment, thanks to both the huge private garden and the pool.

This summer would actually be our first time receiving people in the structure, which is the main reason why we'll do our best to support you with any requests you might have. We are not a business but a family renting out what has been our "home" for a decade and, personally, the space where I grew up. Experiencing my youth in this place is what makes me feel confident in saying how enjoyable would be staying here for the kids, from the endless games of soccer in the garden or in the church soccer field next door, to the afternoon snacks with orange juice and nutella on the terrace. We went through a lot, after relocating to the next city for working reasons, to renovate the place and we sincerely hope that all the efforts will make you satisfied. Colico is a great location where to spend your holidays and, no matter what, there is no better service that could improve your experience more that a local family with a great knowledge of the territory. And a private pool, of course.

The town you are going to stay is Colico, but what you probably ignore is that the small hamlet where the structure is located is called Curcio and it is here that you are going to find the most traditional and friendly environment. Located right under the mountains, this neighborhood is perfect if you are looking for a quiet place to relax after a busy afternoon on the crowded lake's shore, or if you can't sleep without a reinvigorating walk through Roman build structures, traditional dairies and stables and, most of all, rural alleys full of story and charm. Knowing the place as my pockets I can guarantee you there is something for everybody; if you are looking around for challenging hikes or just for an enjoyable picnic I would be glad to provide you my favorite itineraries, as of recommendation for the best traditional restaurants (or "crotti" as they are called) or any sort of activities, from horse-riding to tennis.
