Touring Club Italiano At number 26 Lungarno Pacinotti is Palazzo Agostini, a Gothic-style building dating back to the 14th century. Originally composed of two medieval towers joined by the Astajo family, the palace was expanded and decorated in subsequent centuries. The red brick façade is embellished with terracotta mullioned windows, and the building is also known as the "Red Palace" for its distinctive color. The ground floor houses the Caffè dell'Ussero, founded in 1775, a historic café that served as a meeting place for intellectuals and patriots during the Italian Risorgimento. Virginia Woolf stayed here during her honeymoon in 1912, and the experience influenced the writing of her story "Flush".
