First floor with living room with 2 comfy sofas (please ask to view photos) dining area, fully equipped kitchen from dishwasher to utensils. Living room opens to patio doors to reveal a panoramic lake view where you can dine alfresco and steps to a lower exterior terrace for sunbathing (2 sun loungers) Immaculately kept bathroom with bath and wc. In winter the wood burning fire makes for cosy nights in. Tastefully decorated double bedroom with ample wardrobe space. Steps to the ground floor area take you to another bedroom. This room can also serve as a secondary living room as it features large 2 quality sofa beds which can sleep 4 guests, ideal as a family bedroom. A flat screen TV and DVD are also available in this bedroom. A Twin room with ample wardrobe space plus bathroom featuring a shower and wc is also located next to the family bedroom on the ground level.

Travel: Milan Malpensa and Linate, approx 1 hr 50 minutes. Bergamo around 2 hr 15 minutes. Car hire recommended to help you get the very most from your stay. 10 minute approximate walk down to bus, 10 minute drive to ferry. Distances: All the following destinations are just a boat, bus, car or rail journey away. Menaggio, a short drive from where the apartment is based, looks out to Bellagio which you can reach via the ferry here as indeed the most popular tourist villages. Then retreat to the tranquility of your lake view home here in San Siro. San Siro, shingle beach to top up your tan, mini market (inc fresh bread), deli, restaurants inc the best pizza on the lake at Creme Caramele! Further Details: Pianello Del Lario’s beach, a 5 minute drive by car, offers arguably the best opporunities for water-sport lovers particularly wind-surfing and sailing. Amble down to the beach front cafe or pizzeria and watch the lake, world and locals go by. Restaurants close to the lake side beside the beach area. Also worth the drive for the beach area and recommended lakeside restaurants. A wide selection of local Italian cuisine can be found in the restaurants, bars, pizzerias, ice cream parlours, supermarkets are available in the vicinity of the apartment. Hiking and biking available (bike hire) or take the hills and mountains to explore the area. The local tourist board can offer many memorable routes to explore or take to the lake and induldge in some water sports. Dongo, a little further north of the home caters for many variable water activities.
