The Chierego Refuge is mountain refuge, located in one of the most suggestive and panoramic points of the Monte Baldo crest. The Refuge si located at the foot of Cima Costabella, it dominates Lake Garda and the Val d'Adige from its 1911 meters above sea level. The strategic position of the Refuge makes an overnight stay a unique experience, an experience that can be enjoyed all-round thanks to our cuisine. The Refuge is open from morning to evening, starting from breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen offers typical flavors of the area, it is a combination of unique recipes with renowned flavors, made with passion. The Refuge can ONLY be reached on foot. The main access routes to the refuge are: - Via the Prada-Costabella cableway starting from Prada Alta, 1013 m, (Brenzone sul Garda) you can reach Costabella. From there, continue on foot up to the Refuge for about 15 minutes. For tariffs, timetables and opening hours of the cableway, consult the Funivie del Baldo website. - Arriving by car as far as the “Due Pozze” car park, 1285m, (Località Cason - Prada, San di Montagna) and from there continuing on foot along the old military pedestrian road (sent. 658). The distance is about 2.00-2.30h and has a medium-low difficulty. - Arriving by car as far as Malga Valfredda Crocetta, 1321 m, (Ferrara di Monte Baldo) and from there continuing on foot along the Ottaviani path (path 656). The journey is approximately 1.15-1.45h and has an average difficulty.
