This houses recounts you all my family's story. In the heart of Bovesia, Mediterranean crossroads of languages and cultures, discover the hospitality, folklore and the richness of an exceptional area. Five thousand years of tradition, between past and present. RioRosa awaits you for days of excursions between sea and mountain, surrounded by the scent of Mediterranean cuisine, fruit and vegetables from our own production and the aroma of bergamot jonico. Calabria is rich in history and variety of his territory and unique. From Bova Marina you can easily reach: - Aspromonte national Park - Kaulon museum - The Acheological museum of Bova Marina - The Bronzi di Riace, placed in the Archeological museum of Reggio Calabria We are in the heart of Grecanica area. The area is the cradle of ancient linguistic minority ellenofona Calabria. The Ionic side southern Aspromonte also keeps unchanged the traces of its ancient nature crossroads of the Mediterranean
This villa is part of a little complex of 3 villas, which are runs by my daddy. If necessary you can book all the villas for a maximum of 12 people. My dad lives there, he used to be a lawyer in Milan, but he choosed to return to his origins. he loves good food, good people and arts. Enjoy our special place!
In the archaeological park of Bova Marina, you can visit the remains of the second oldest synagogue in the West! The archaeological site of S. Aniceto Our coast has also been chosen by the turtles to lay their eggs. In summer it is not uncommon to come across in the exciting hatching in full moon nights, all expertly protected by the volunteers of the project TartaCare.
