We're in love with Itria Valley. After several years traveling for university studies, I decided to return to my beloved land and open this special place: Trullo Santangelo. The purpose that I have prefixed to myself is to raise awareness of the beauty of the Valley of Trulli through micro hospitality.

Property info

Trullo Santangelo is an authentic country house composed by a complex of nine Trulli and different Lamie. It was built at the end of the 18th century and Elia Family started to welcoming travelers from all over the world in 2011. Every accommodation of this ancient structure, has been restored respecting the original nature of Apulian rural habits. Suites in Trulli have comfortable spaces and they keep alive the charm that characterized instead Lamia or rural house with flat roof are are typical building once used to store work tools: the Olives Deposit and Old Bakery house. Situated in the heart of Itria Valley, it offers comfortable spaces surrounded by nature and characterized by the rural beauty of Trulli.

Neighborhood info

The Valle d'Itria is the so-called Valley of the Trulli. The Itria Valley welcomes visitors with olive trees without equal, trees born from a red earth that smells and makes the landscape around a succession of wonderful color effects. The things to see are the cities of Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. These itineraries are easily accessible. A bit further away, about 1 hour drive, you find the beauty of Lecce, Bari and Matera.
