The casale enjoys a privileged position overlooking the Tevere valley and the soft green hills that surround it. It has a private swimming pool surrounded by a composition of lavender and rosemary, gorse, oak, and olive trees. There are 3 bedrooms, including 2 doubles, two bathrooms, sleeps 7. The kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped, the fireplace in the living room is a welcoming meeting place during the autumn evenings. Discover the surroundings and get back to the casale for an aperitivo by the pool and dinner under the patio, with fireflies illuminating the rosemary. Turn off the lights and let your gaze get lost in the Milky Way.
Villa Lavanda is a 15-minute drive from Todi, the medieval Umbrian jewel known at the beginning of this century as the 'most liveable town in the world'. It is only a short distance from the picturesque little borgo of Montecastello di Vibio (7,5km). It’s a perfect starting point for daily trips to Deruta (30min drive, ceramic and terracotta), Perugia (45min drive, eurochocolate, Umbria Jazz Festival), Orvieto (50min drive), Assisi (1h drive) and typical cashmere production villages like Bevagna, Ripabianca, Spello or Solomeo.
