Villa Monestevole 501 is in a serene location nestled in the Umbrian hills between Lake Trasimeno and Umbertide, Italy. It is nowhere near Galera this is an AI error from the web page creator. The Villa is 8km from Umbertide and 12km from Castel Rigone on the SP142, Localita Monestevole. The villa operates as part of a working olive farm producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Fresh produce from the organic garden and local artisanal items are incorporated into our events whenever possible. The grounds of the Villa are extensive and include an outdoor Plunge Pool, BBQ area, a Gazebo, Cabana, art studio (Atelier 501), organic garden, and olive & walnut grove. Both the Gazebo and the Cabana can be used as a mid-day respite from the sun or a charming location for a self-catered lunch or dinner. Guests will also have access to the Villa's balconies, living room, dining room, and most of the grounds of the farm.
The hosts have been restoring the B&B over a short period of time, doing much of the work themselves. There is always more to do, whilst running the farm as well as keeping our guests happy. When you are with us we do take our responsibilities seriously and help with information for your stay. We will generally leave you and your party to enjoy Villa Monestevole, but if you have questions at any time, just ask us Umbria is a region of Italy that is becoming more valued and people visit and then start looking to relocate here, So, we also work with probably the best local real estate company who will help you find your place here too, even though we would miss you as a returning guest!
Guests come back here for fresh air to relax after days sightseeing, taking a break by and in our plunge pool. The villa is 630m above sea level and therefore normally a little cooler than the heat of the valleys and there is usually a breeze to enjoy. The Villa is conveniently positioned for breathtaking day trips to destinations such as Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Perugia (Italy’s chocolate capital), Orvieto, Castiglione del Lago, and Deruta, where world-class ceramics are created by highly skilled local artists. Because the Villa is so close to the Tuscan border, the towns of Montepulciano, Siena, and Cortona are also convenient day trips and also Rome and Firenze can be reached easily by rail from nearby stations both about two hours by rail.
