Villa 'Perla del Sole' is a large property with breathtaking panoramic view, which emerges from the forest, standing tall. A little driveway will take you to the house and its top apartment. An independent entrance leads through the hallway into the living room with its seating area. Glass doors will lead you to the balcony, surrounding most of the apartment. There is a fully equipped, closed kitchen and a dinner table big enough for 8 people. The corridor leads to 2 renovated identical bathrooms into the 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have doors accessing the balcony. We can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. A baby cot is available. WiFi is available and pets are allowed. A heating system, TV, electrical BBQ is all there. The garden around the house is ample, build on 6 terraces, of which the top one has outdoor furniture on a grass lawn for relaxation with aperitifs and near the outside BBQ.

We are Neli and Dimitri, originally from northern Europe. We've been in tourism most of our lives. A few years ago we fell in love with each other and with Bajardo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, so we found a place to call home. We have decided to share our little paradise with you, you will understand why. We started to renovate this abandoned place in the summer of 2022 and made it into this haven of peace. But every time we finish one project, two new ones are waiting for us, so we decided that there's no end to it and we will keep building and renovating for the next decade. We hope you will enjoy your stay in our retreat as much as we do after renovating it. We prefer the personal approach towards our guests. We'd like them to feel at home as much as possible and do almost everything in our power to make sure of it. In the Odyssey, Homer tells us that, in Elysium, "men lead an easier life than anywhere else in the world, for in Elysium there is no rain, no hail, no snow, but Oceanus [the gigantic body of water that surrounds the whole world] always breathes with a western wind that sings softly from the sea, and gives new life to all men." Far from everyday life and the stress it entails, you will find Bajardo, surrounded by nature; between mountains and valleys, forests and streams, perfect for outdoor activities. We are about 45 minutes away from the Italian and French Riviera and the border with France and Monte Carlo, overlooking the Italian and French Alps on one side and the coast with the sun reflecting on the Mediterranean sea on the other. A few roads lead to Bajardo, an ancient 'Borgo', which deserves to be visited because of its history and beauty. A few restaurants and shops, a church and houses build on top of each other, a few ruins and lots of alleys is all there is. Villa Perla del Sole at a 10 minute walk from Bajardo, is overlooking the village. Road cycling, mountain biking, walking, playing tennis or badminton, soccer; it's all possible. Hiking up to Monte Ceppo, or one of the 80 km. of trails through the hills, surrounding the villa. A day at the beach is 40 minutes away. The region is dotted with ancient 'borghi', each of them with another story and exhaling a different atmosphere.
