This is a private whole-house rental located just a 2-minute walk from Ise Grand Shrine’s Geku. Its location makes it easy to plan your stay around visiting the shrine, whether early in the morning or in the evening. The area around the house is lined with the traditional approach leading to Geku, where you will find long-established restaurants and souvenir shops. There are many places you can casually stop by before or after your visit, and simply walking around the neighborhood lets you experience the unique atmosphere of Ise. At night, the area becomes much quieter, and you can feel the calm, sacred atmosphere that comes with staying so close to the shrine grounds. A shuttle bus to Naiku runs daily from the Geku-mae bus terminal, so even on weekends and during busy seasons, you can travel without worrying about traffic or waiting for parking. Another special advantage of this location is that you can follow the traditional Ise pilgrimage route, starting from Geku and then heading on to Naiku. Because the entire house is reserved for one group per day, you can enjoy your stay at your own pace without having to worry about other guests. It is well suited for couples, families, or small groups, and it is also convenient if you would like to return to the house for a short break between sightseeing. Inside, the house is furnished with two double beds and a sofa. The bathroom and toilet are separate, and there is also an independent wash basin and a kitchen, making it easy to get ready or prepare simple meals. This makes it easy for guests arriving by car, and check-in and unloading luggage can be done smoothly. You can walk to Ise Grand Shrine’s Geku from here. For Naiku, a shuttle bus is available from the bus stop in front of Geku, making it easy to get there without any hassle. One thing to keep in mind is that shops in Ise tend to close quite early, and the area around the house becomes very quiet and dark by around 5:00 PM. But there is no need to worry. If you drive for just five minutes, you will reach a major road lined with many restaurants that stay open later into the evening. If you prefer to go on foot, there are also plenty of restaurants open until late around Kintetsu Iseshi Station.
