Cottage Pokhara offers a spacious private villa boasting Mount Fuji views, only 984 feet from serene Lake Yamanaka-ko. Altitude 1,000-high and cool climate weather. Approach about 62 mi from Tokyo, 3 hours by bus or 2 hours by car. There is a Japanese-style room featuring a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a TV, and a sun room overlooking Mount Fuji, which also offers homegrown herbs. The living room features a sofa, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and a DVD player, while there is a spacious dining area. The kitchen includes a cooking stove, a microwave and a fridge. Barbecue facilities and a washing machine are on-site. The villa is entirely nonsmoking, and guests are permitted to light fireworks until 21:00. Free parking is available. No meals are provided. A supermarket can be found 1.9 mi away.

“Absolutely amazing stay! Wonderful location with a wonderful view of Mt Fuji. The house was so cute and well stocked. We had a bbq and a bonfire which was a highlight. Our host was very nice and helpful as well! We really enjoyed our time there :)”

・400m from the nearest bus stop. ・There is a hiking course nearby, so this cottage is recommended for outdoor enthusiasts. ・You can see “Diamond Fuji” from our cottage in early November. ・300m to Lake Yamanaka. You can enjoy the superb view. ・The neighboring house is far away (more than 50m), so you don't have to worry if you speak too loudly. ・The contents of the facility are substantial, so there is no problem as long as you can procure the ingredients. ・For people who like the countryside. ・It is not suitable for those who want the convenience of a city. ・For people who want to share a house. ・Recommended for people who live in condominiums and apartments on a daily basis. ・You can relax in the lawn garden. ・You can access the cottage immediately from the parking space. ・Security is good. ・Mt.Fuji can be seen clearly. ・Since the altitude is high, the temperature rarely exceeds 30°C even in summer. ・When it rains, the temperature can drop below 20°C even in summer. ・The best time to see autumn leaves is around October.
