Located along Houshi River, Houshi Onsen Chojukan features a public hot spring bath, Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and Japanese cuisine. A wooden building stemming from 100 years ago, the property breathes a historical atmosphere. Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with seating cushions. A seating area at floor-to-ceiling windows offers nature views, and guests sleep in traditional futon bedding. Yukata robes are provided, while toilets and bathing facilities are shared. A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room. The Houshi Chojukan Onsen hotel is a 20-minute drive from arts and crafts village Takumi-no-Sato.
