Welcome to Hatago Tawara-ya. Our inn is a traditional wooden building that blends naturally into the historic townscape of Magome-juku. We offer a private cypress bath made from Kiso Hinoki, with views of the old post town to the west and the Kiso Mountain Range, including Mount Ena, to the east. If you like, you may find additional information about our property by searching for our name on the internet.
Hatago Tawaraya is facing directly to the main historical street of Magome-juku. To walk to Tsumago-juku or Ochiai/Nakatsugawa via Nakasendo trail, you can start walking directly from the accommodation. NOTE: There is NO convenience store, grocery store or supermarket in Magome area as it is a remote location. To buy snacks or drinks, we highly recommend you to buy them in the city area (before coming up to Magome area)
