We made a bit of a crazy decision to leave Beijing and move to Hakuba to run Snow Elephant Lodge. In the blink of an eye, we’ve already spent eight years living in this lovely little village. Over the years, we’ve made many wonderful friends here and had the chance to experience the beauty of every season. We’ve truly fallen in love with this peaceful, friendly place. We hope you enjoy the very best of Hakuba’s 4 seasons during your stay at our carefully prepared lodge. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom beautifully across the village. In summer, Hakuba is surrounded by deep green forests and fresh mountain air. Autumn brings colorful mountainsides While winter transforms the area into a true snow paradise with 5–6 meters of snowfall. Location Snow Elephant Lodge is located about 500 meters below Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, approximately a 10-minute walk to the slopes. On good snow days, it is even possible to ski back to the lodge. The ski shuttle bus stop is right in front of the property, making it especially convenient for guests who want to enjoy night skiing or catch the first lifts in the morning. Rooms Our lodge has 7 guest rooms, all located on the second floor: 3 twin / double rooms 4 triple rooms Each room comes with its own private bathroom, so you can enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay after a day on the mountain.
