The Moo is a beautifully crafted luxury chalet tucked away in a quiet corner of Echoland, Hakuba’s renowned dining and entertainment district. Completed in 2022, this expansive six-bedroom residence blends contemporary alpine comfort with subtle Japanese design influences, creating a warm and sophisticated mountain retreat ideal for families and larger groups. Designed by Ipse Ipsa Ipsum, each room at The Moo has its own distinct personality, featuring custom-made furniture and sustainable natural materials inspired by Japanese minimalism and traditional craftsmanship. The interiors combine warmth, simplicity, and timeless design to create a space that feels both refined and deeply relaxing. Large windows fill the chalet with natural light while framing peaceful forest views throughout the seasons. At the heart of the home is a spacious open-plan living and dining area with comfortable sofas, warm timber accents, Apple TV, and Netflix — perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains.
