Villa Hakone Koku is a two floor private accommodation located at the foot of Lake Ashino in Hakone. Two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living room with kotatsu table with balcony, bathroom with view over the Ashino Lake and Hakone Shrine, wood deck with barbecue and outdoor furniture. ・Easy self check-in system. A 4 digit code will be send to you one week before your check-in date. Please check your messages for a smooth check-in! ・Barbecue is free to use. Please read the user manual that is onsite before use, and bring all dishes back inside after using the barbecue. Food leftovers can be disposed in the bin in the kitchen inside. ・Tableware and cooking utensils are available. Please bring your own seasoning and ingredients if you wish to cook. ・All guests are required to fill out our online check-in form prior to check-in. By placing a reservation with us, you automatically agree to our policy and conditions. ・Some areas in the bathroom may appear white due to paint coating. Please note this is not dirt or mold. 【Regarding breakfast and dinner】 Breakfast and dinner can only be reserved at the time of your booking - unfortunately this option cannot be added after your booking has been completed. Please make sure to select the correct room and plan. If your reservation includes meals, ingredients for breakfast and dinner are inside the fridge upon arrival. Breakfast includes three types of bread and one bottle of juice for each guest. For dinner, a variety of vegetables and regional Wagyu (Japanese beef) is provided that can be grilled on the BBQ. In the unlikely event that we fail to deliver the ingredients due to unforeseen circumstances, the costs for the breakfast and dinner will be reimbursed. In the case you booked ahead of time and ingredients have significantly increased by the time of your arrival, additional costs may be charged to cover the difference.

Villa Hakone Koku is easily accessible by car. For visitors who come by public transport, we advise you to take the bus from Odawara and get off at Oshiba. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the property from this bus stop. Being close to Ashino Lake and Hakone Shrine, this property is conveniently located for those who want to explore the famous sightseeing spots of Hakone. There are multiple hot spring facilities nearby as well that are open for one day visitors. Several restaurants and souvenir shops with local food are within short distance from the property. Convenience stores are also nearby, however there are no big supermarkets in the area. It is advised that you bring groceries directly to the property or have them delivered during your stay if you want to cook or use the barbecue.
