The Shamba is a community living and co-working space located on Mandharini Road, Kilifi. We are located 15 minutes from Kilifi town and 10 minutes from Beneath the Baobabs. There are 5 rooms available, each featuring a double bed, clothes rack, wall fan and a private bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. Each room sleeps 1-2 people and the kitchen and living room are shared amongst everyone. The kitchen has a fridge, gas cooker with oven, microwave, cookware and cutlery Laundry is available at Kshs. 500 per full load. Smoking is allowed in the common areas only, the rooms are strictly non-smoking. There is a dog on the property. Pets are welcome on the compound but not in the rooms and the owners are liable for any damages or extra cleaning required as a result.
The Shamba is located in a quiet neighborhood that is about 15 minutes from Kilifi Town. The area features spread out green fields, lush tree coverage, local birds and wildlife. Guests can enjoy a 40 minute walk to the nearest beach or take a 10 min boda boda (motorbike) ride.
