Birdsong Villa is a private one-bedroom garden retreat in peaceful Rathgama, approximately 100 metres from Rathgama Lagoon. Surrounded by tropical greenery, fruit trees and birdsong, it is well suited to couples, solo travellers, remote workers, digital nomads and longer stays. The villa includes an air-conditioned bedroom with a king-size bed, a sofa bed, a private bathroom, comfortable living and dining areas, a full kitchen and reliable fibre Wi-Fi with a dedicated workspace. Guests have private use of the entire villa, veranda and garden. Free private parking is available on the property. Traditional Sri Lankan breakfast is available on weekends for an additional charge and must be requested in advance. Bed linen is changed twice per week. The hosts maintain the garden, while cleaning inside the villa can be arranged upon request for an additional charge. Guests staying 28 nights or longer receive the applicable monthly-stay discount, one complimentary guided kayaking experience for up to two guests, and 10% off one airport shuttle transfer. Guests staying 42 nights or longer also receive 10% off one cinnamon experience.

Birdsong Villa is hosted by Kavindu and managed under Eranorris Villas & Experiences. Having been born and raised in the Rathgama area, Kavindu has strong local knowledge and enjoys helping guests discover the quieter and more authentic side of southern Sri Lanka. Guests are given privacy to enjoy the villa independently, while the host remains available whenever assistance is needed. Help can be provided with local recommendations, tuk-tuks, scooter rental, airport transfers, tours and nearby experiences. The aim is to offer a welcoming, comfortable and peaceful stay while allowing guests to experience the area at their own pace.

Birdsong Villa is located in a quiet residential area of Rathgama, away from busy roads and the noise of the main tourist centre. Rathgama Lagoon is approximately 100 metres from the villa, making the area ideal for guests who enjoy nature, birdlife and peaceful surroundings. Rathgama Beach and Rathgama Junction on the Galle–Colombo main road are approximately 3 km away. Central Hikkaduwa, including its beaches, restaurants, cafés and shops, is approximately 10 km away and normally takes around 15–20 minutes to reach by scooter or car. A scooter, tuk-tuk or car is recommended for getting around. The host can assist with arranging local transport and scooter rental.
