Casa Mariposa is a 150-year-old villa in Ahangama. The house is calm, open, and full of character, with original antique details and a simple, modern touch. Inside and outside blend naturally, with nature always close and present. Casa Mariposa is a place to slow down, be together, and enjoy what’s around you.
It’s created by a mother and daughter who found this place and saw what it could become/bringing it back to life with care, and sharing it with others to enjoy Sri Lanka the way they do.
The villa is located in Ahangama, in a quiet and green area surrounded by palm trees and nature. It’s just a five minute walk to Secret Beach and nearby surf spots like The Cove and Gas Station, making it easy to enjoy the ocean at any time of day. A few cafés and restaurants are only a one-minute walk away, with many more options along the main road just a few minutes further. The area is peaceful, well-connected, and perfectly placed to enjoy both the calm and the energy of Ahangama.
