From here you can see a beautiful lake with a spectacular view of the Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock. Archaeological sites such as "Kaludiya Pokuna" and "Ritigala" can be visited. You can also visit the Dambulla cave temple. The Minneriya National Park, near Sigiriya, is home to a large number of elephant herds, which cannot be found anywhere in Sri Lanka.
