Hello ! AYUBOWAN , Let me introduce my self. I'm Viraj Prematunge , host of the La-Vira Beach Villa. I am a National Tourist Guide Lecturer registered with SriLanka Tourist Board or ( SLTDA ) . Before starting the hosting the Villa i was working in the Dubai for a decade in the Financial service industry. Corona pandemic was a life and career changing challenge for me and my family. It was a turning point to become a professional in tour guiding and hotelier which was my passion. our aim is to give our guest homely feeling away from home. we believe cross cultural experience , Authentic local food, makes your foreign trip more meaningful and add values it. so we strives to make your stay with us and srilanka makes a your memorable stay . it may be a life changing or it gives you a different perspective how you look at things.

La-Vira Beach Villa is a family run beach front villa along the calm and sandy beach in the Hikkaduwa suburbs. it is just 2.5 km away from Hikkaduwa city so it would be ideal place to relax in the less crowded beach more likely your own house in a private beach. we always strives to feel you homely feeling away from your home. we love to share our cultural values, traditions and willing to learn about yours as well. if you willing we love to offer Srilankan authentic foods and home made food as well and we can arrange you srilankan traditional cooking sessions as well. if you are nature lover we can arrange ridding through village and you may visit our own cinnamon garden which is 3 km away from the villa and experience how this amazing spice grows. if you are travelling with kids, La-Vira is the best for your kids to get enjoy and have cross cultural experience with our kids. our kids also love to learn about other cultures and share their own culture with others. they love to Sing, play UNO games , chess, checkers, carom and many more. To tell more about our villa, it was our home we were born and brought up then it was devastated by Tsunami in 2004 December and though we got narrow escape. it was rebuilt again and it was fully renovated and refurbished and converted into a tourist villa in 2022.
