Mango lodge offers 3 double rooms, one with air condition and fan, two with fan. All rooms have an own bathroom with shower and hot water and benefit from a very large terrace with 2 kitchens, view to the garden and sunet. The rooms are on the first floor of a family house, the entrance is seperated. Downstairs lives the host Neel with wife and 2 daughters, so you always find a contact person. Free parking inside. Breakfast is included, lunch and dinner availabe, dinner also on the beach before sunset. Many of the guests are happy, that the owner offers a tuk tuk service with his own tuk tuk and he personally guides excursions - by tuk tuk, bicyclette, boat, car or train. He also assists with all kind of water sports and recommands the perfect Ayurveda provider.

My name is Neel, and I will try to make your stay at Mango Lodge as comfortable as possible. I have many years of experience working with tourists, i speak German and English. My wife, my two daughters and me live downstairs, so please always feel free to contact us. The entrance to the 3 guestrooms in first floor is outside and seperated. Maybe most interesting for you: I offer tuk-tuk service with my own tuk-tuk. So I will be happy to deliver fruits, water... for you or to bring you to beautiful beaches, the market, shops, restaurants. I am happy to offer excursions by tuk tuk, bycicle, boat, car or by foot. Or maybe you look for one of the many sports options here: surfing, snorkeling, diving, fishing waterski, bananea boat, windsurfing or... As a former watersport teacher I will help you to find the perfect spot. Meals can be aranged, also in the garden (all kind of sea food, for ex. prepared on open fire) or at the beach. Welcome!

You will stay in a typical residential area with small houses and gardens. The famous old temple Kande Viharaya with the hudge Buddha statue is just a walk of 5 minutes away, and guests like to observe how different life is there over the day or in evening or when there are celebrations. By m tuk tuk you can arrive at Brief Garden or Lunuganga Garden within 20 minutes. Mangove trips by boat are extraordinary and near. You can go to the beautiful town Galle - if you wish by train or visit many other places of interest, such as old temples, carver, rope maker, a bakery, a scrap dealer, a natural pool in the woods, ricefieds, spice farmers, the big fish market in early morning, the harbour, the weekly market, a turtle farm, a tea plantation, cinnamon destillation or even whale whatching.
