Villa Claudia is located on the Property of Nimal‘s Kitchen. The Opening is in October 2025. 3 large Double rooms with air condition are available. Nestled in a paradisical Garden, Villa Claudia is a place to relax. The family Business is run by Nimal and bis wife Kumari and Claudia, a german friend of the family. Nimal is a very good and experienced Travel Guide and also offers Individual tailored tours. Ayuverda Massagen can be organized on request. Kumari offers a Cooking course. Who comes as a guest leaves as a friend. All Guests can enjoy delicous Sri Lanka cuisine.
The restaurant startet spontaneously in 2022 from the friendship between Nimal and Claudia. Claudia met and fell in love like a sister with Nimal , as a German speaking tour guide in 2022. His wife Kumari is the head chef of Nimal’s kitchen. She makes her own curry from 14 different spices. Kumaris curry is available for purchase at the restaurant. She offers cooking classes in the show kitchen. Cooking is traditionally done on fire pits in clay pots. For years her traditional Sri Lanka cuisine which also appeals to vegans and vegetarians, has been’ very popular with all her guests.
Villa Claudia is just a few minutes walk or a minute by tuk tuk from Kabalana Beach. The Long Sandy beach is very popular with surfers and also offers shaded loungers for relaxing. Coconut water and other drinks are sold on the Beach.
