We are three siblings (Janine, twins- Nadia & Nadine) born to a Sri Lankan father and a German mother. Our family refurbished our father’s ancestral home on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. We have very fond memories of Ronnaduwa, where we used to spend our school holidays and weekends bathing in the resident well and visiting the local temple. Our father was a nature lover who taught us the names of the trees and flowers in Ronnaduwa and took us for long walks on the estate.

Property info

Villa Ronnaduwa is located on a private cinnamon & coconut estate on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The villa consists of four individually designed bedrooms, each consisting of a open-air bathroom, private veranda and access to the garden area. The rooms are equipped with A/C, flatscreen TVs and wireless internet. The property also includes a brand new 45ft swimming pool (including a kids pool), which makes the villa ideal for families with children. The closest town is Ambalangoda (7 km away) and is known for its hand carved traditional masks, cultural dances, and antique furniture stores. The villa is easy to reach from Colombo via the Southern Expressway (1.5 hours). The nearest beach is just 5 mins away, but we would recommend visiting the popular beach town of Hikkaduwa (10 min drive). Our guest manager Gihan and his team will ensure that our guests will have a comfortable, enjoyable and unforgettable stay.
