My house was built in 2012 by locals from the village. It is built with local materials (mud and stone), in the local style. Each room has a window with an enchanting view, either of the village, fields or to the Atlantic ocean.
I built Khanfous Retreat after falling in love with Bni Meslem. The peace, tranquility and views are what I love most. I hope you will too. Salah, our manager, will be your main point of contact. Mugait and his wife Fatima will help make your stay comfortable. Enjoy!
Bni Meslem is a village which operates as it has for hundreds of years. There are no cars in the village, locals travel around either by foot or by donkey. There are no shops, so people live off what they grow and top it up with purchases made at the weekly market (7 km away). Many houses don't have running water, so they go to the well every morning. This is also where they bring their animals to drink, on the way to the fields to graze. This village is all about the simple life.
