Hello! My name is Rachid and welcome to my Ecolodge! My family and I have lived in the Atlas Mountains our entire lives, and wanted to share our experience of this beautiful place with people across the world. I manage the Ecolodge with my wonderful friend Ibrahim, who will make sure you are properly looked after during your stay. I also have worked and trained extensively as a guide and tour operator, so please reach out to enquire about any hikes, tours or excursions you may be interested in during your stay at my Ecolodge – I am always happy to help. The most popular attraction nearby is Mt. Toubkal, the highest summit in all of North Africa. With a variety of hikes and tours encompassing the summit, and covering a wide range of different ascents, there is path up Toubkal for all experience levels. The town of Imlil is just a short walk from the Ecolodge, with shops offering traditional Berber clothing and crafts, female collectives offering Argan oil and cosmetics (to support local female arrtisans), and plenty of restaurants and typical high-street stores to buy groceries, medicine, or anything else you would need. Otherwise you have other villages and valleys all within (very scenic) hiking distance of the Ecolodge, such as Aroumd, Ikiss and the Azaden Valley.
