The idea of venturing into the hospitality industry was inspired by the purpose of establishing and continuing the legacy of our late grandfather who was well recognized for his contributions and emphasis on providing a memorable hospitality for his guests. He played a key role in shaping the future of many responsible citizens back in the day. His demonstration of a hospitable environment was key in inspiring us to offer the same to our guests, with the concept of making our guests feel like home. The Mureed reflects its purpose, name and concept of a homely haven after him, and seeks to achieve the goal of offering a comfortable, welcome ambience for all. The Mureed is the first of many future ventures, and this is a stepping stone of the long journey. The Mureed is nothing short but your intimate holiday home.

We are situated on the western end of the island, totally secluded away from the rest of Fulidhoo. The ambience at The Mureed offers absolute calm for those seeking utmost privacy and relaxation. The proximity of the guesthouse being located far from the rest of the island makes it an optimal choice for a holiday that you have always dreamt of. However, despite the location and the size of island merely being 700m long, it makes it accessible for attaining the essentials and other services during your stay.

The Mureed is located on Vaavu atoll Fulidhoo, where local tourism is practiced under the government regulations which prohibits guests from wearing bikinis in public areas and are allowed to do so only within the allocated bikini beach's premises. Nevertheless, the guest house can arrange excursions to picnic islands and sand banks where these rules do not apply.

The property can be reached by a public ferry, speed boat or chartered speedboat. Travel arrangements can be done by the guest house, which may be paid to the owner at check-in.

Please share your flight details and full names with the property before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer.

If your flight lands after 13:00, you will need to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to spend the night in Male.

Please note that there are no ferry services on Fridays.

Advance booking is required for speedboat transfer.
