Sinurambi Cottage Rental is a boutique accommodation . We are located at the edge of UNESCO site, Crocker Range National Park (Inobong Sub-Station) in Penampang district in Sabah, East Malaysia. Sinurambi is located 1400ft above the sea level and command a spectacular 270 degree view of the primary jungle, valleys, city, islands and South China Sea. In certain area, one can see the Majestic Mount Kinabalu. Sinurambi is most suitable for guests who are self driving and self catering. The kitchens are NON HALAL and we own dogs. Each room has a kitchenette and there is an outdoor kitchen by the swimming pool with gas BBQ, Wood Oven, Electric Oven, powerful gas stove, microwave and cooking utensil. You are welcome to BYO drinks and food. There are pergolas for lounging, dining, sunset viewing or sunbathing. We guarantee guests privacy as the facilities is for registered in house guests only. We do not accept walk in. Hence, we need all guest to declare the exact number of guests (adults, children or babies) checking in.
We are blessed to be the guardian of this little paradise we call home. So we hope you will feel the same while staying here. We love nature, hiking, motorsports, tennis, fishing etc. We are a couple who enjoy travelling so we love to hear your travel adventures and tales. Our cats and rescued dogs live on the property. They love their walks and will go with any guests who wish to explore the nearby area. We live within the property so we are here if you need us. However, we will give you all the privacy you wish for.
The Crocker Range in Inobong is the closest National Park from Kota Kinabalu City, our state capital. This park is a UNESCO site. Sinurambi Cottage Rental is only 300 meter from their entrance. There are walking trails within the park. There is a short hike to the Waterfall and longer trails called The Salt Trail. Bird watching in this area is very popular. Hikers, joggers and cyclists regularly seen on our 6km uphill road. The Kibambangan river is about 5km away and suitable for a quick dip. However no fishing is allowed here as there is a Native Law for such thing. We are working alongside our local tourism association to promote community based tourism. If you need tips and pointers, we are happy to assist.
