Our accomodation in the mids of greens within our capital city boundaries and is truely unique. Ideal for families who want best of both worlds: historic city and nature to relax after a day filled with impressions! Our city farmhouse is located 30 minutes by bike ride of the city center, or just hop on the bus & metro (22min) to dive in the buzz of our amazing Amsterdam. We can advise you where to go, whether it is in the city or somewhere special and off grid. The room is quite spacious for 2, and even if you bring your children, the place feels comfortable. There is no kitchen, but there is a microwave and you can use our BBQ. Let us know in advance if we can help you with something, we hope to see you soon in our homestead! Family Hessing, 2 dogs, sheep and chickens!
We are the proud owners of 2 lunchrooms in the city, both called Lavinia Good Food. We are open for breakfast and lunch, from 9.00-15.00. You receive a 10% discount as our guest, so let the staff know when you decide to enjoy our restaurant.
Our village is called Schellingwoude, and it is the closest duke village of Amsterdam. It is 30 minute bike ride and 20 minutes by public transportation. However, the best part is our area itself. It is green, diverse, hosts creative entrepreneurs, artists and is evolving....For example we have the largest street art museum, a huge skate board area, a wonderful cinema with a wood-oven based restaurant, heaps of local craft beers and so on and on and on....
