I am born (1963) in Rotterdam. I am married to Henny and mother of 3 sons and grandmother of 2 grandchildren. My longing and search for the meaning of life, the how and why, has resulted in starting a small exclusive campsite from April 21, 2017. The quest for purpose and meaning during a holiday, inspired the idea to start this exclusive campsite. In March 2016 we bought this beautiful place at the river Berkel with the wish to realize a unique place. We have certainly succeeded. Not only for people who seek peace and space, that which is abundantly present here. But certainly also for people who want to create a meaningful holiday. You will be ARE welcomed by Isabel, Esther, Henny, Joshua or Me (Mura). Together we hope to make an unforgettable holiday with new insights.

Our smoke-free campsite gives you a natural experience. We have done everything to make your holiday as meaningful as possible. The beauty of nature and the round design which includes the four elements, ensure a focus on a meaningful experience. We have two 8-person villas, an outdoor kitchen and a sauna with sunbathing area. The entire property is located at the Berkel River, which may be used for fishing (with fishing license). Swimming in this flowing river is also possible. As a guest in one of our villas you can enjoy the space and view, the peace and the special design of the terrain.

Neighborhood info

The area offers extensive opportunities for hiking and cycling and a swimming pool is close by. The picturesque village Almen offers within cycling distance a supermarket and restaurants. Hanseatic city Zutphen, Lochem and Vorden are the golden triangle in which Almen is located. My husband and I welcome you to this beautiful location.
